PH Sensor – PH Composite Electrode E201-C Acid Base Detection
This pH sensor module consists of a glass pH probe and a signal conditioning board, which gives an output signal proportional to the acidic intensity of liquid solutions and can be interfaced directly to any 5 V micro-controller.
This sensor returns a voltage proportional to the tendency of the solution to gain or lose electrons from other substances, which is linked directly to the pH a substance. And it’s normally used in applications such as aquariums, hydroponics, laboratories, etc, where it is normally used for measuring acidity on a scale from 0 to 14, with 0 being the most acidic and 14 being the most basic (see the image below).
With this module, you can add a second temperature sensor(not included) in order to measure the solution temperature and compensate the data as part of the measurement process, as it’s shown below:
- Working voltage: 5 Vdc
- Working Current: 5-10 mA
- Detection concentration range: pH 0-14
- Detection range of temperature: 0-80℃
- Response Time: ≤ 5 s
- Stability Time: ≤ 60 s
- Working Temperature: -10 to +50℃
